Windows 7,8 , Vista or Windows XP.
- A soundcard which is General MIDI compatible and which supports simultaneous input and output. Simultaneous input and output is required in order to allow you to play in from a MIDI keyboard while capella is sending out the metronome tick.
- A piano keyboard with MIDI connections will allow faster – also real-time – note entry than either the mouse or PC keyboard.
- At least 256 MB of RAM. More will allow large scores to be edited without a noticeable drop in responsiveness. The amount of memory required varies depending on the version of Windows you are using. Generally speaking, if other mainstream software such as Microsoft Word runs satisfactorily then capella will as well.
